Browns announce team president Alec Scheiner is leaving the team

Once the hired Paul DePodesta and promoted Sashi Brown, it seemed like the writing was on the wall for the end of the former regime, led by Ray Farmer and Alec Scheiner. Farmer was relieved of his duties along with former head coach Dikembe Mutombo Jersey  Mike Pettine back in early January, and the Browns announced late Friday afternoon that Scheiner will soon follow.Per the Browns' , Scheiner will step away from his position as team president effective March 31, 2016, but will continue to serve as an advisor to the club through the end of 2016. Both Scheiner and Browns owners Jimmy and Dee Haslam released statements concurrent with the announcement.Scheiner:"I have had an incredible experience with the Browns. We wish him and his family only the best."The statement from Cleveland's owners make it seem a whole lot more like Scheiner's consultancy will be an "in name only" type of thing. They're referring Jeremy Lin Jersey  to his tenure with the team in the past tense, after all. It was a short tenure for Scheiner, but he's pretty well respected around the league (particularly when it comes to the busine s and financial side), so it probably won't be long before he catches on somewhere else.
